Thinking Skills are skills that need to be mastered by every individual who wants to have dexterity in thinking in accordance with the principles of thinking, so as to avoid drawing wrong conclusions in life we are presented with various data, from that data set, then our minds process it, so that conclusions can be obtained, in the form of new knowledge which when the process is correct, the conclusions are correct. And from these correct conclusions, in the end we will be able to make the right decision, in this case there are two types of argumentation or reasoning that we do in order to make decisions: 1. Theoretical arguments, and 2. 2. Practical arguments. ____________________________________________

____________________________________________ What is meant by theoretical argumentation is reasoning that aims to achieve a match between what we think and the reality outside. While practical arguments are conclusions that we draw by considering practical goals, such as the benefits to be achieved, or the dangers to be avoided, and the two types of arguments are interrelated. Because practical arguments are based on theoretical arguments first. Perhaps we all can understand this, well, the correspondence between what we think and the outside reality is what is meant by "truth". This is called "correspondence". And every truth is also "coherent", that is, there is no contradiction in it. Thus, truth is inseparable from correspondence and coherence. ____________________________________________

____________________________________________ There are several principles that we need to know or realize, so that we are able to think. What is clear is that all these principles are already in our minds. Because without these principles, all the knowledge that we have will fall, no matter how simple the knowledge is, the aim is not just to memorize these principles. It is how we are skilled and trained in maintaining the continuity of these principles during our reasoning or thinking process. Namely that in every thought we can always be consistent between the beginning, middle, and end, in other words, there is no contradiction in it. Because intuitively we can understand that whatever the thought, it will undoubtedly be wrong, whenever there is a contradiction in it.
