As we're getting very close to hard fork 21, many of us already started preparation for it. What to expect and how to overcome. One thing for sure, it's the potential income we all care about. Let's face it, the current payout is 75% to the author and 25% for the curator. When hard fork happen, author reward will be reduced to 50%. Many had started yelling at it for months, and in the end it is still going to happen, like it or not.

To those who have not upvoted anyone, everyday comes in make a few post and take money out, I don't like you. But that does not mean you're wrong. You have every rights to do so. By reducing the author reward will literally help me to fight you guys from taking too much out of the system. You don't need to prepare anything, because I will still upvote you to get my curation reward.

To those who have a heart and soul, patiently growing your steem power, do not worry about the author reward. You still have all the support from those who have supported you as always. Are you worrying about half the reward goes back to them? Well, nothing much you can do about it. Find more supporter. I am willing to upvote good content! I would love to vote more now! Because I am getting my 50% regardless.

Investors, will be very happy to see this growth. Previously, there's been some good investors who willingly remain anonymous supporting communities around the entire blockchain. What? You haven't seen any of them? That's because you have not create content interesting enough for them.

What is there to prepare? In my opinion, there's nothing to prepare. You already have some first hand experience from steem-engine@steem-engine. It was all the while 50% curator reward in #scot tokens. What makes a big deal out of it. Let's be fair to our investors, they deserve their portion of their reward. Once again, if you have a decent amount of SP stake, why not adjust your voting power? Lower or but put a wider spread of people? If you're an annoying self voter that doesn't give a damn to the community, by all means, continue to do your self upvote. Be it 50% or 75%, it's not going to affect your income.

Finally, preparation for vote seller, you collect less premium from buyer, but you earn back bigger portion of curator reward. So what's the big deal? And delegators, need to work your way up and start to calculate whether your return is justifiable. If the return is too damn low? Might as well take back your SP and do tour own upvote.

And I, am all ready for it. My SP is ready to vote, my SBD has been fully utilized in terms of trade. Whatever balance SBD has been converted to #steem few days ago. Put it this way, it's just another #scot token release. What's the big deal? And with #steem, every impossible make possible(including entire block chain being stuck for a week, remember what happened to HF20)?
