My take on this is a big YES! Granted that the replies to question are useful and being curated properly. To me, sometimes I have no idea what to post, musing became my INSPIRATION yo. There is this little check box on the reply column on the upper right stating "Post to blog", question become my title and I can use my reply to the question as my main article.
1. On a super duper lengthy reply that covers at least 1 aspect to the subject matter, with at least 1 example given, and offered a solution will often get upvoted some 1% to 5% depending on who is clicking the button for you. So yes, it will increase overall reward for an individual who participate in musing.
2. To me, fishing for engagement in musing is much more important than fishing musing vote(no doubt I do love it when musing vote my comments) along my few months of musing life, I gained a few more friends here in musing. More friends to support mean increase reward when someone upvote us, indirectly musing increased my reward even if they did not upvote me.
3. Time against earnings is important. What makes musing interesting is their delegation and their curation. If you're those blogger who having 10$ / post, will extra 50¢ upvote on a time consuming lengthy reply excite you? Probably not. But still, it is increasing reward if being upvoted.
Territory limitations are real. My blog are usually engaged with Chinese steemians because I blog in Chinese. My regular posting are a dollar or two worth with the assistance of #esteemapp and #steempress-io curation. I've seen great content creator come to musing to answer a question just for fun. Once again, musing does help in gaining extra SBD reward, not limited to their upvote alone. I supposed this post are not getting upvote by musing, but what the hell. I'm having fun voicing out my thought to you. Come join the fun and invite your friends to join us as well. Don't alert them on the reward, give them a surprise!
