Another PicsOnBikeDay.
Yesterday I went to Ortonovo, a little hamlet on the Liguria's Hills, in province of La Spezia. The place is located about 20 kilometers from my home, and I arrived after a last short climb.
Just arrived, I embarked on a paved road, obviously on foot.
The directions indicated this place as the Nostra Signora del Mirteto Sanctuary.
In front of it, the paved way is confined by some trees.
Climbing up, I've been able to take a picture of Ortonovo Village.
Then, I've reached the center of this parts and I saw a charming set of streets.
I found a flight of steps that descended more inside but I avoided because I didn't want to get too far from my bike.
The last pic is a shot from the main square in front of the village church. There is a lot of old buildings and an ancient fascinating tower.
After this shot, I took my bike and I left for home. Another good afternoon, tiring but sunny.
