♥ CREATE a COMIC ♥
Hola a todos. Hace poco terminé un proyecto de un comic, con una historia escrito por Kyroh, tomando los personajes del juego Axie Origins. Me ha emocionado este proyecto, así que le puse todo mi tiempo y esfuerzo. ¡Acompáñame en el proceso! ♥
Hello everyone. I recently finished a comic book project, with a story written by Kyroh, taking the characters from the Axie Origins game. I've been excited about this project, so I put all my time and effort into it. join me in the process! ♥
Sinopsis de la historia titulada: Shego The Oracle. "Hera escapaba junto a Shego de un ser maligno que los perseguía, luego de llegar a una cueva y ocultar a allí a Shego, Hera decidió que debía sacrificarse para mantener con vida a Shego, ya que este junto a lo que albergue un extraño cofre antiguo, serían los puntos claves para vencer al mal en el futuro."
Synopsis of the story titled: Shego The Oracle. "Hera was escaping with Shego from an evil being that was chasing them, after arriving at a cave and hiding Shego there, Hera decided that she had to sacrifice herself to keep Shego alive, since Shego and a strange ancient chest would be the key points to defeat evil in the future."
Este es mi primera vez dibujando un comic con un estilo cartoon. Actualmente mi estilo lo defino como semirrealismo, pero es verdad que tengo ciertas habilidades y empatía por el arte cartoon, pues cuando comencé a dibujar el comic no tuve gran dificultad para adaptarme a este estilo.
This is my first time drawing a cartoon style comic. Actually I define my style as semi-realism, but it's true that I have certain skills and empathy for cartoon art, because when I started drawing the comic I didn't have great difficulty to adapt to this style.
♥ STAGE OF COLOR ♥
Una vez que les presenté los bocetos al escritor, me expresó algunas correciones y las hice, luego pasé a la etapa del color. La etapa del color para los comics suelen ser más planos: sombras, luces, algunos degradados y listo. Así que solo quedaba trabajar y disfrutar de una buena paleta de color dependiendo del sitio donde se encontraban.
Once I presented the sketches to the writer, he expressed some corrections and I made them, then I moved on to the color stage. The color stage for comics is usually more flat: shadows, lights, some gradients and that's it. So all that was left was to work and enjoy a good color palette depending on where they were.
Como pueden ver, el capítulo inicia en un día con mucha nieve, pero la noche va llegando a medida que las páginas van pasando, todo esto ocurre hasta llegar a una cueva donde la luz es poca. Una de las cosas que más tuve que pensar, aparte de la paleta de color, fue el de cómo organizar todo lo que escritor pedía en diferentes paneles. A veces habían tantas cosas qué dibujar que podría confundirse, sobrecargarse o añadir más paneles para agregarlos, pero luego de tantos bocetos pude organizar todo hasta sentirme bien.
As you can see, the chapter starts in a day with lots of snow, but the night is coming as the pages go by, all this happens until we reach a cave where there is little light. One of the things I had to think about the most, apart from the color palette, was how to organize everything the writer asked for in different panels. Sometimes there were so many things to draw that it could get confusing, overloaded or add more panels to add, but after so many sketches I was able to organize everything until it felt right.
El capítulo termina con el amanecer a lo lejos. Una de las cosas que me gustaron fue la paleta de colores que elegí para llevar a cabo todos estos escenarios. Lo saturado, frío y cálido de los personajes también son un punto de foco para destacar en su entorno.
The chapter ends with the sunrise in the distance. One of the things I liked was the color palette I chose to carry out all these scenarios. The saturated, cold and warm of the characters are also a focal point to stand out in their environment.
También pasé varias horas leyendo mangas y algunos comics que me pudiesen servir de inspiración para saber organizar las escenas en paneles, cuántos de éstos poner y en qué posición ordenarlos. Es algo que nunca había hecho y creo que me está empezando a gustar.
I also spent several hours reading manga and some comics that could serve me as inspiration to know how to organize the scenes in panels, how many of them to put and in what position to arrange them. It's something I had never done before and I think I'm starting to like it.
