From time to time I'll drop a quick work-in-progress post in between the normal long format posts.
This portrait is just a small portion of a larger painting. I don't usually paint like this: high detail first before moving on. Normally I jump around the painting and bring things up together, with focal area slightly ahead. This new challenge is exciting to me. And I never thought I'd say it but....I'm having fun with this tiny ass brush. 馃槺 馃榿
