Continuing on with my exploration of Wilmer Wetlands, located by Invermere, British Columbia. What an incredible place this was! It absolutely felt like another world, unlike any other place I have visited.

Gotta another water fall to show you, this was captured at about the half-way point to Bertha Lake, Waterton Lakes park, Alberta. On this particular hike, today's hike in fact, I was out for about 5.5

On the agenda for today was a hike up to Lineham Falls. Located inside Waterton Lakes Park, Alberta. The hike itself took about 4.5 hours roundtrip. Wow, the waterfall was incredible! Totally worth the

Here are the rest of the Epic Sunset photos from last week’s Epic Sunset! The Sunset offers so many great photo ops, and the thing is, no two Sunsets or even Sunrises are the same. Mix in various cloud

Another epic Sunset, here on the Western Canadian front. Lately lots of oddball type weather days including tornado watches and alerts. The oddball weather tends to bring along with it spectacular sunsets.

The more time I spent here at Wilmer Wetlands, the more I enjoyed it! Such epic views from the cliff edges. Check out the soaring birds, osprey or eagles, not sure what they were, but marvellous any which

It’s another Random Friday, and the weekend is here! Tell me about the week that was, get up to anything special? How about this weekend, any Big plans in the works? For me it is a work weekend, but vacation

My last day in the Radium area took me to a place called “Wilmer Wetlands”. Located near Invermere (about 30 min from Radium). Wow, I must say this was really quite different than any of my usual hikes.

Here is some “stream photography” to share with you. Is it a stream or is it a creek? Certainly isn’t large enough to be a river, so I will call it a stream. Probably too shallow for any fish to survive

Time to test out the fast shutter speed for some stop motion shots. Every once in awhile I like to experiment a bit with the shutter; I chose 1/2,000 of a second with a few of these. Water flowing through

Right near the “V shaped” canyon (on yesterday’s post), is a trail which takes you down to the lower canyon and falls. So naturally I wanted to check this out. The hike downward was less than a kilometre

The highway number 93 South goes through this V shaped canyon, otherwise known as Sinclair canyon, British Columbia. The 93 south starts at the trans Canada highway #1 about an hour north of here, then

I used to capture a lot more Sunsets in the past, but I have gotten somewhat lazy as of late. But yesterday I noticed a sweet sunset coming in and decided to go out and photograph it. The weather yesterday

Welcome to the first Friday of July; what is on your radar lately? Summer is in full swing here up in Canada. I am getting ready for my next adventure which begins in about a week and a half. Heading back

Well I guess the water is actually more turquoise than blue! This section of the river Kootenay seemed more exquisitely coloured than by the bridge, which we walked by earlier. Perhaps due to the sun vs

This is one of them hikes that requires you to cross a bridge. It is always an extra thrill to be able to cross a bridge, or a walking bridge, and even a boardwalk of any dimension. How about a suspension

A few more Canadian Rockies landscapes to share with you this evening, from one of my favourite provinces which is British Columbia. Such a lovely place, with endless beauty! April through October are

Just before finishing the Dog lake hike, I decided to take a little detour, an aberration. Why not follow the river for a little while and see what the scenery is like? So I did. Always like to explore

What is the first thing you want to do after a long hike? Sit down and relax right?! Obviously. Probably want to have a snack and guzzle a bit of water too. Here are a few photos I captured on the way

The best part of this entire hike was capturing the various reflections off the lake! Fallen trees truly give off some of the best reflections, followed closely by lake waves. Then you think to yourself,
