There are many mountains in and around Banff National Park, but one does stand out for me, and you might say it holds sentimental value as well. The name of this mountain is Rundle Mountain. Standing tall at an elevation of 2,948 metres or 9,672 feet. Back sometime ago when I lived in the Banff townsite, I would always get the greatest views of this mountain from the hotel I worked at. Not exactly from this angle, but from more of a valley view. To me this mountain will always been known as “Epic Rundle”. Photos taken just outside the townsite of Banff, Alberta.
