What is the definition of Cascade? It is a waterfall or a series of smaller waterfalls pouring down a steep rock face. That is the reason why this mountain is called Cascade Mountain. As you can see in the second and third photos, there are cascading waterfalls pouring down the mountainside. Some years back, we climbed up near the base of the fall about 100 metres or so for a closer view of the rushing water. It was really incredible to get so close to this wonder of nature, not to mention the great view of the beautiful valley!
