Like I mentioned in yesterday’s post, Kootenay National Park is underrated in my opinion. One of the premier destinations in the Park is Marble Canyon. Easily accessible from the 93 south highway, and not too far from the town of Banff. Absolutely worthwhile to stop by, and don’t forget your camera for numerous photo ops. The hike itself is not really even a hike, but more of a “walk” into the canyon (a bit of elevation gain, but not much). Very family friendly. The rushing Kootenay river water making it’s way through the canyon is super cool to watch in motion. Come back in the Winter and try some ice climbing! (I think I’ll stick with the Summer stuff though)
