If any of you have been a tourist in Dublin you'll probably recognize this alleyway. Its one of the main routes in and out of Temple Bar, which is one of the main tourist hot spots in Dublin.
I took this a few years ago very early in the morning, on a rare occasion where nobody was around. If you stood in this exact spot in a Friday or Saturday evening you'd see people crammed in like sardines, with loud music everywhere and pub/restaurant reps trying to get you into their premises.
Its a fun place to visit but unfortunately has been spoilt by greed. Its by far the most expensive part of the city where a pint of beer can cost 8 euro in some bars. Also with that comes rising rent prices for business, who also have to drive up their costs for everything else. Thats probably why you'll find lots of "Irish bars" and lots of things claiming to be traditional irish, but you won't actually find many Irish people in Temple Bar. We know better 馃槃
