Hello friends, hope everyone is really doing good. Today, I found this resourceful YouTube video by Pastor Eli on "reasons to believe in God" (part 2 of 2)
I really love the illustrations he gave on the course of his teaching regarding the subject matter.
He quoted Romans 1:19-20 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse (KJV)
No one can be exculpated questioning the integrity of God regarding creation, although most people will say I'm an atheist, so I don't believe in your God.
The datum remains that the unbeliever who feels God does not exist already knows that there is God, and Pharoah asked Moses;
Exodus 5:2 And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.
Meaning that he knows that Israel already has a God and that there is God but the intensity of his ignorance and arrogance wouldn't let him act sagaciously.
God is a spirit but people would want to see him physically as to believe the reality of his existence but this is a waste of time.
Pastor Eli gave an illustration regarding two scientist friends who argued about the existence of God as one believed the is God.
He said that the scientist that believed in the existence of God brought different ball shapes and held them by strings in his laboratory.
When his atheist colleague came, he was surprised and asked him who made these things? His friend answered that it was just there on its own, no one invented it.
The atheist friend said to his friend that he must be joking. Finally, the scientist who believed in the existence of God told his atheist friend that if he didn't believe that these balls that represented the planet came on its own, why shouldn't he believe that God created the universe.
Nonetheless, from that convincingly illustration, his atheist friend then believed that there is God.
Bible said in Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
So it is only a fool that would question the existence of God because this is like questioning the possibility of a woman putting to birth or conceiving a child when we know that it is naturally want for women to bear children although this is outside of any scientific interference.
Finally, there is God because if there could be a Father in a house, there is God who owns all the families of the world. If there could be a government to represent and protect a people, there is a God who also protects the whole world, is there could be a committee headed by anyone, that means there is a God that rules over the world.
