Samuel West, the creator of the museum wanted to show the missteps or mistakes of business as a way to celebrate the hurdled and bumpy road to creative success. Though the name of the museum is failure, the overall theme of the museum is to keep going, pushing, thinking outside the box, innovating and never giving up because you'll never know which one of these innovations is the real 'next big thing'.
