In this battle I faced @haoge637 in the silver league, the maximum mana was 26 and there were two conditions, Taking Sides and Back to Basics; that is, it would not be possible to use neutral cards and the monsters lose the basic skills.
During the battles we are usually used to use the abilities of our cards, but when the Back to Basics condition is present in the battle, at that moment we must think differently, to create a strategy we must use our summoner, and also observe the values of attack, shield, speed and life, that way we will try to get the victory.
Battle strategy.
In this case I used Aquatus in the golden version level 2, since it has a BacKfire ability, but when using this summoner I also had to use cards with a lot of speed, these cards can dodge attacks and at that moment Backfire would be activated, which would cause damage to the opponent: the attack is practically returned every time we dodge.
For the activation of Backfire to be effective I used Phantom of the Abyss and Djinn Oshannus, these two legendary cards are fast, besides that they have the ability to attack using magic, so both cards would be important in the strategy of this battle.
Finally, I used Merdhampir in the golden version level 3, this card would allow me to attack from a distance and also has an acceptable speed, although it is uncommon to activate the Backfire with this card.
Meanwhile, my opponent used the summoner: Kelya Frendul, plus the cards: Diemonshark, Flying Squid, Deeplurker and Hardy Stonefish.

During the first round, no card was destroyed, we only used up some of the life.
The next round started with the elimination of Diemonshark, then Flying Squid resisted my attacks, during this moment the Backfire ability came into action.
In the third round, Flying Squid was defeated, this was the highlight of this stage.
The battle lasted until the fifth round, in both rounds 1 monster was defeated, that is, Deeplurker and Hardy Stonefish, something that I must emphasize is that my team's cards only received damage and none of my cards were destroyed.
Conclusion.
As I already mentioned my goal was that the Backfire skill would cause damage and that the magic attack was the main weapon against the opponent, but during the battle the skill was activated very little and the most important were the magic attack and the resistance of two important cards like: Phantom of the Abyss and Djinn Oshannus; because of that I obtained the victory and Merdhampir also contributed with accurate attacks, in this way it was possible to obtain the victory with the Back to Basics condition active in our battle.
