Splinterlands meta snapshot: The untamed cards

Hey Monster Maniacs, one of the reasons why I was interested in collecting data about the @splinterlands battles was to know how the new Untamed cards behaved and thus know which cards to add to my collection. But I must admit that the reception of this expansion has disappointed me a little bit, at first I was very excited thinking about a massive adoption and a radical change in the way to assemble our teams at the time of a duel, but it was not like that. All this process of assimilating these new characters in our teams has been much slower than I thought at first, but still it is interesting.

With all this, the Untamed cards are slowly becoming more used in battle but still maintain a very low percentage of use compared to the beta and reward cards, for that reason I invite you to check the numbers below with tweezers as some statistics can be misleading, either because of the fact that a certain card is rarely used or because that particular card is generally not given the proper use, either way it uses this data collection as a reference and not as an absolute truth, I myself have been surprised at how much these statistics can vary from week to week even with a greater number of battles.

Data features

A total of 82018 battles were processed.
Only ranked battles belonging to the last 30 days.
The results have been filtered to show only the untamed cards, but all the available characters have been taken into account for the calculations.
Only battles where all participating monsters have their levels within the ranges shown in the table below are added to the database.

Conclusions

At the moment, the most used untamed cards are (at least in the bronze league) the fire team, the summoner Pyre and the Living Lava tank, they have a percentage of use above 4% and a pretty good winrate in this league.
As we move up to the higher leagues there is less participation from the untamed cards, in champion league, for example, none of the untamed summoners get at least 1% participation.
Despite the nerf received a few weeks ago, Cursed Slimeball continues to have an excellent winrate in leagues above the bronze league.
The Silver League is where the untamed summoners are doing the worst.
