Hello fellow music lovers and welcome to another one of my entries in #nowplaying week 20. For this entry, I am going bring you all back, way back where until you might think that you have travel back to time. I am going to share with you all a song by a band called “A-ha” and their song entitled “Take On Me”.
A-ha is a Norwegian band hailing all the way from Oslo and was formed in 1982. The band was founded by Morten Harket their vocalist which plays guitar as well, Magne Furuholmen their keyboardist and last but not least, their guitarist, Paul Waaktaar-Savoy.
Their song “Take on Me” was taken from their studio album called Hunting High and Low which was released back in 1984. When I first listened to this song, I instantly have the feel of living in a futuristic era. The synthesiser that they were using is totally out of the world and what can I say about the riff provided by the keyboard, it simply one of the best riff that anyone could sing along to it. So, fellow music lovers, I hope you all enjoy this song, and go on, put on your futuristic sunglasses on.
