Last night and today parts of Britain was hit with what the met office called an Arctic Blast, it snowed most of yesterday, all the way through the night to about 10am this morning.
I really wanted to get some snowy shots with the drone, but with the weather and work, I couldn't get any this morning, however, there was just enough snow left when I got home from work for some lovely shots.
Looking over the fields towards the time centre, I love how the sun is casting shadows over the fields.
(Can you see the message that was written in teh snow?)
The light was beautiful tonight, I wish I'd had more time to get somewhere to take some more shots.
I was so surprised how quick the snow melted, it was at least 6 inches thick this morning and now most places are clear, apart from where the sun didn't get.
It does make for lovely pictures though, although I'm glad I wasn't travelling anywhere last night, especially over the M62 as some people were stuck on there for 11 hours.
The weather forecasts that it's going to be -6 degrees, I was contemplating getting the telescope out but decided to give it a miss lol.
I really hope you've enjoyed this short post, really hoping to get some lovely wintery shots tomorrow.
All the best, have a great weekend :-)
