I participated in my second HivePUD of the year. I powered up 50 Hive to keep the streak going of powering up an amount on the first of each month.
Otherwise for me, the week has been relatively quite. I have not been paying attention to any of the prices for crypto or stocks. I just did not feel like hearing all the bad news that is out in the world. There is so much fighting and lying by everyone that it just turns me off.
Good news is that I have been trying to focus on my online activities. I am taking a few courses and I want to learn more about the various projects here on the Hive Platform.
Author and Curation Rewards
Author and Curation rewards are essential to the growing of my account and stacking Hive and Hive Engine Tokens.
I have earned from curation 2.23 Hive (2.34 last week) and from content creation 15.22 Hive (16.75 last week) over the past 7 days. I was posting three or four posts per day but have slowed. This is having an impact on my earnings as I have seen it decreasing each of the last three weeks.
For 2022, I have created a goal to reach 2,500 Hive Power by the end of the year. Today my Hive Power balance was 715 up from 654 last week so I will need to stake 1785 more Hive to reach that goal.
Hive Target
Since my Hive Power goal for 2022 is 2,500, I want to make sure the line is always trending upward. I will need to keep it going that direction if I want to meet my goal.
I have been saving some liquid Hive so I participated in the HivePUD on the 1st of February by powering up 50 Hive. That is the reason for the spike in my Hive Growth Chart. This is my first month to earn the 50 Power Up Day Badge. I try to participate each month in this event.
Hive Curation
Keeping your Hive Curation rate up is very important for building your account. Currently mine is reflecting an APR rate of 8.7% from 9.6% last week. I will be targeting to have mine between 8% and 10% so that I can keep my Hive curation earnings as high as possible. 8.7% is within my target zone but a drop from last week. I need to keep an eye on this to ensure it does not drop below 8%.
Hive Stats
My effective power is 1330 due to 700 of delegated Hive Power to me. While this Hive is delegated, I need to keep my Hive curation APR as high as possible.
It also reflects your current Vote Value and how long it will take to reach 100% voting power. The number of followers and posts are also reflected.
Hive Engine Tokens
HiveStats will also provide you with information about your Hive Engine Tokens. I have increased my holdings. I will be looking into the various projects related to these tokens to see if the projects can help my accumulation goals.

CTP - 25,000
Alive - 20,000
OneUp - 20,000
LEO - 1,000
