Everyone says they want to be successful. I know I do. But to be successful, you need to be an expert in something. Then with a lot of practice and preparation, you will be successful.
Select a subject or activity, either old or new and untried, to learn and gather as much information as possible about this topic that you have chosen. You will need to be determined in your pursuit to learn as much as there is to know about this topic. Do not bounce around every month to a different subject or activity. Select one and stick with it for the long haul.
Once you have selected your topic or specialty, prepare yourself and practice as much as possible. At first you will not be perfect, this will come as you prepare and practice. Take blogging for instance, no-one is perfect when they first begin but they get better the more they pursue and dig in to the chosen topic.
"I will will study and prepare and some day my chance will come." This quote was attributed to Abraham Lincoln. You will need to be ready once the opportunity does present itself. By selecting a subject or activity which you are becoming an expert and you prepare and practice all the time, when the chance arrives, it will be yours for the taking.
Success does not happen to the unprepared nor does it happen overnight. Due to this, select something you can become an expert. Take action, stick with it by preparing and practicing. Then "some day your chance will come"
