To get a better understanding of what is happening with your Rising Star account, I encourage you to review the entries in "Your Diary". Those entries are there for your benefit.
For instances, everybody always talks about "Drunk" fans being bad because they drive up your ego. But if you look at the diary entry, you can see that adding fans, even Drunk ones, increases the maximum number of STARBITS that can be earned per mission.
The key is to take action when you notice these entries in your diary. During the time you have found Drunk fans, run more missions to maximize your chances of getting additional Starbits.
Here is another example from my diary. I own 1 Pizza Box which can store a pizza slice until I am ready to use it. When I noticed that I had found a Pizza slice that stored in my Pizza Box, I started another mission.
I was able to do this twice in a row however I kept finding pizza slices. As you can see, I found five slices but only two of them were stored in my pizza box. The others refilled my energy to 100%. The bad news is that I should have run more of the larger missions during that time period.
If I would have been paying closer attention to the diary entries, I would have run the missions accordingly.
Rising Star Progress
I added another level this week. I am now at level 105. One level at a time to get closer to unlocking the next mission when I reach level 125.
I made better progress on My ranking this week at 550 from 570 last week. My weekly minutes stayed about the same week over week from 4880 to 4715 this week. I think the major difference was that I was able to increase my IM from 82 to 87, an increase of 5 points from a rare card I had purchased.
My ego stayed at zero % this week. I like it when I am able to achieve keeping it this low.
Unique Cards
This week I added 5 new unique common cards (2 People, 3 Instruments) for 10796 Starbits. This added a total of 30 Fans, 12 Luck and 15 Skill to my stats. Each week I am adding common cards that I do not have in my collection. Pretty soon, there will be no more common cards for me to purchase.
Thinking about that unique common cards are becoming fewer and fewer each week. I have also started looking at the rare cards to add to my collection. I have been looking at rare cards that add both Fans and Skill so that I do not get my ego to far out of line.
This card, R282 MC Flow Rapper, costs 8000 Starbits. To me this seems to be expensive but it was the lowest cost for the combination of Fans and Skills at only 32 Starbits per unit. I received 50 Fans, 4 Luck, 200 Skill and 3 IM. I really need the IM so I thought this was a good purchase to make.
