When you first start playing Rising Star and reach level 10, Ego starts being an important part of your strategy. When you Ego % starts climbing it starts impacting your earnings from each mission that you run. This can have a huge impact to your stats if you let Ego get out of control.
However now that I have passed level 100, Ego has not played a roll at all in my stats. This is because I have been able to keep it at 0% for a while now by running Music Lesson missions and also getting cards that have higher Skill stats. My Ego % has been at 0% for almost two months now.
When looking at my Ego stats, I have 5599 Ego from fans and another 12832 Ego from missions for a total of 18431 Ego points.
My skill total is 19527 with 7371 of that from cards and the balance of 12156 from running the Music Lessons. This results in a nice cushion of over 1000 skill points above my ego points. This should keep my ego % at 0% from quite a while so that I can focus on other parts of my strategy but I will need to always keep an eye on it to ensure that it so that my ego points do not exceed my skill points.
I have now made it to level 110. I still need another 15 levels to unlock the next mission. This will take some time but since I do not need to focus on my ego % in the near term, I can focus more on leveling up those 15 levels to reach the next mission unlock.
Over the past two weeks, my ranking was impacted by having issues with my computer. I was not able to work on most of my projects during that time while I worked to get my computer back up and running. Sometimes this happens and you just need to work with what you have and move on. I was finally able to get the computer back working a few days ago so now I am in catch up mode which I do not think I will be able to ever catch up from being down for that long.
So even though I had been working to get additional cards to increase my IM total, my weekly minutes was low at only 3360 which held back my ranking to 636. I expect my ranking to jump greatly over this next week since I will be able to run missions like I had before my computer issues occurred.
To keep my IM total increasing, I purchased two new unique rare cards with 7 IM points. The 250 skill points on these two cards will also ensure that my ego % stays at 0% as well. With these two cards both being unique, this will help both increase my unique and total cards counts helping to increase my total points in all of the different categories.
