I always find it very interesting when I compare my stats week over week. For instance, this week my curation APR jumped over a full percentage point from 7.69% to 8.92%. My targeted range is from 8 to 10% so I was happy to see the increasing into my desired range.
Here is the interesting part, I do not remember doing anything whatsoever different that would cause the increase. Or not that I remember. Since payouts are on a 7 day delay, I would need to look at what happen about a week and a half ago to really determine what is different.
Did anyone else see a jump in their curation rate? Maybe it was the Hive Price that pumped sometime in that period or was it something totally different. I will probably never know but I am still happy since this is the first time this year it has been in my targeted range.
Hive Target
One of my goals for 2023 is to reach 5,000 Hive Power. It will require a lot of focus and determination to reach that level but I am up for the challenge.
I currently have 2380 Hive Power. This is an increase of 14 Hive Power for the week.
Moving on up in the overall Hive Power ranking from last week's ranking of 3744. I was able to move up 15 places to 3729. On average, I have been advancing around 15 places each week. It is almost a one for one ratio to how much Hive Power I add each week.
Hive Power is critical to have so that you are able to participate in curation and governance of the Hive Platform.
Weekly Earnings
My Author rewards increased to 19.9 HP ($8.75) from 19.47 ($8.77) last week. An ever so slight increase from last week but I will take whatever I get.
My curation rewards jumped nicely to 3.57 HP ($1.57) from 3.06 HP ($1.38). Since curation is a direct result of my Hive Power balance, it is best to continually add to it.
I have been receiving 0.14 HBD Interest per week over the past few weeks. HBD provides a 20% APR. I am adding a little to my HBD holdings each month in addition to the earned interest.
30 Day Earnings
During the last 30 days, I received a total of 78.44 HP ($34.49) compared to 73.02 HP ($32.84) of Author Rewards. I would like to reach 100 HP per month by mid year. I have a long way to go to reach that but I think it is possible.
My curation rewards slightly increased to 13.22 ($5.81) from 12.42 HP ($5.58). My interest earnings held steady at 0.61 HBD compared to the 30 days from a week ago.
Curation APR
My curation APR jumped nicely into my targeted range of 8 to 10% this week. I was very surprised to see this happen because I do not remember adjusting anything this week related to my curation. My curation APR is 8.92% from 7.69% last week.
I noticed that last Friday, Saturday and Sunday are higher received curation rewards that all of the other days of the week. But then it dropped back to my prior rewards Monday forward. I hope it was not just a little spike that I will never see again.
Hive Engine Tokens
There are four community tokens that I have chosen to increase in 2023.
Alive - Increased staked Alive tokens by 164 to 17545 from 17381. The other 2,000 is a delegation for a month, one of the 1,000 will be expiring soon.
CTP - Increased staked CTP tokens by 229 to 21878 from 21649. The other 4,000 is related to a delegation I have received.
LEO - Increased staked LEO tokens by 1 to 429 from 428.
POB - Increase staked POB tokens by 18 to 2093 from 2075.
The picture of my Hive earnings would not be complete without including the received rewards from Hive Engine tokens. This week I received 6.82 Hive equivalent ($3.00) of Hive Engine tokens for Author and Curation rewards. For the month, I have received 31.47 Hive equivalent ($13.84) of Hive Engine tokens.
