Goals are not worth the paper they are written on if you do not create an action plan to make progress on them each and every week. Granted it is ok to take a breather every now and then to get refreshed so that you are producing at peak performance.
So the first question now will be:
What will I be doing this coming week to my progress on my goals?
I will be creating memorable content and curating posts and comments on the Hive Platform. I have found that these are the two actions that make a larger impact on my goal of accumulation.
This is my first post this week which will be a review of my prior week's activity.
The second question you should always ask yourself is how did I do compared to the actions that I performed las week. Without retrospective review, you will never know if the actions you are taking are actually contributing to the goal. Or if the actions you were taking were enough quantity and quality wise to more the dial.
Hive Target
To get anywhere you must start with a step and then another one after that. Unless you are a great Necromancer, you would not be able to teleport to your destination.
So I have changed my strategy to just focus "One Week at a Time" with the end goal of accumulating as much as possible prior to this next bull run. The rest should take care of itself.
Last week my Hive Power balance was 2869.548. By my actions, I was able to increase it to 2894.853. This is an increase of 25.305 Hive Power. This is very good progress for me since I know that earlier in the year, I was only able to increase my Hive Power by around 11 to 15 Hive Power per week.
Hive Power Ranking
way that I check to see if I have made progress is to check my HiveBuzz rankings. I always start with my Hive Power ranking. Last week I had a ranking of 3380. This week my ranking is 3365.
This is an increase of 15 positions. There is really no way to see if this is a good advance in number of positions or not since there could be a grouping in the rankings with people that have balances that are very close to each other or there may have been a group of people above you that started powering down their Hive Power or a group below you that had liquid hive and powered it up.
With this ranking, my thought is that I would like to increase my ranking each and every week even if it is only my 1 or more positions.
HBD Savings Ranking
You could call my attempt at adding to my HBD a "Risk Aversion" tactic since HBD is the Hive Platform's stablish currency. I am using it to earn the 20% APR and also since it can be accessed easily but not right away, I use it as the start of an emergency fund.
I currently have 60.624 HBD in my savings earning the 20% APR. I added 1 HBD to my savings this week and my action is to increase it by 1 HBD per week to keep it growing and compounding the interest.
I hope that I will not need to withdraw it for an emergency but if I do just having it gives me a sense that I would not need to worry as much in case something does occur.
Similar to Hive Power ranking, I also review my HiveBuzz HBD Savings ranking.
Last week my HiveBuzz HBD Savings rank was 2093. By adding the 1 HBD, my ranking increased to 2087 an increase of 6 positions. I would love to be in the top 2000 holders of HBD but know that it will be several weeks before that happens.
Hive Received Rewards
I have found this site very useful: https://hivestats.io/@darmst5339
It provides numerous stats for your account. Most of the below screen shots are from that site.
I like to review my prior 7 days and 30 days of activity on the Hive Platform. This helps show me that my actions are adding to my overall goal.
Since my actions are to create content and curate other's content, this char that shows the last 7 days of payment activity is useful to review. I had two days that were above average as compared to all of my other days that week. I was extremely pleased to receive some larger votes on two posting which I had not been receiving in the past.
After looking at the 7 day chart, I click on the "30 Days" button on the right side of the chart so that I can compare the last 7 days to the rest of the month to determine if it was above, below or at average.
The past 30 days is a bit misleading since the first part of that period I was not creating content and the only rewards I was earning was related to curation. This is the second week back to creating content from the break that I took.
Hive Engine Tokens
Hive Power and HBD are not the only thing that are being earned from creating content and curation. I am also earning 2nd layer Hive Engine tokens.
Alive and AliveM holdings are my two largest on the 2nd layer of Hive. I take actions to increase these each and every week as well. I would like to get all of my top 10 token holdings over the $10 threshold but with the crypto bull market going on, this is a very hard task to achieve but not an impossible one.
With the prices of the 2nd layer Hive Engine tokens being suppressed, the earnings I receive each week in those tokens is also low.
This week, I received around 3.21 Hive worth of 2nd layer Hive Engine tokens or around $0.96 USD. Not much, but I believe every little bit helps to add to my accumulations and I am taking it:
"One Week at a Time".
EVER FORWARD!!!
