Adding to my accumulation each week is my main objective through content creation and content curation. I also like looking at different data points to help me understand if I am moving in the direction that would be beneficial.
This past week, I was not as active online as I had planned on being but I was able to create some content and curate posts. I am hoping this next week will be a little better.
Hive Target
Last week, I changed my strategy to just focus "One Week at a Time" with the end goal of accumulating as much as possible prior to this next bull run. The rest should take care of itself.
Don't get me wrong, I still want to accumulate 5,000 Hive Power and reach Dolphin status but that is so far off that it is very easy to lose track of when that might even be achieved. So week by week, if something more tangible and measurable.

This was a small increase compared to what I would have hoped for but it is an increase.

That is $3.24 more than I had before the week started and it is adding to my accumulation of Hive.
The good thing about Hive Power is that it is currently earning 3.04% on the Hive Power Balance. So just for having my Hive Powered up, I will earn an additional $29.14 over the next year not accounting for compounding.

I probably can't do a whole lot with an additional $29.14 but it will help build a foundation that will earn even more over time.
Curation APR
While looking at this chart, I noticed that over the past week I earned more from curation than I did from content creation. The 8.27% curation APR rate really helps out in my earning potential.
If I can consistently receive an APR for curation of 8.27% that would be another stream of passive income.

Annual Passive Income
Granted $79.27 isn't a whole lot either but now that I have accumulated this 2904.683 Hive Power Balance, I need to do very little to receive the $108.41 ($29.14 Holding APR plus $79.27 Curation APR) each year.
This is just an additional stream of passive income that will help supplement my annual income later in life. And the good news is that this passive income stream will compound each and every week that I create content and curate posts.
HBD Savings
In addition to the passive income stream I have created from my Hive Power holdings, I have created another one using HBD.

HBD holds a very close correlation to the USD as some consider it to be a stable coin.
Each week I accumulate another HBD in my savings. I plan to do this each and every week that I possibly can from my content creation earnings.

Multiple Income Streams Matter
With the HBD Savings as another passive income stream, my annual passive income is growing from my accumulation of just Hive Power and HBD. Just from these three passive income streams, I am receiving $120.74 annually and this is not even counting the additional amounts from compounding.
I am working to create several more passive income streams on top of those three that are listed above, all from the Hive Platform. Some of the other income streams are from the 2nd layer tokens that are earned from the same activity that I earn the Hive Power and HBD - content creation and content curation from which I also earn several 2nd layer tokens.
There are also the various passive income tokens listed on Hive Engine (BRO, INDEX, DHEDGE, etc) and lots of games (Splinterlands, RisingStar, WOO, Stardom, etc.) also developed on the Hive Platform from which earnings can be created.
Creating multiple streams of passive or semi-passive income is a great way to supplement your income until these streams are grown into rivers of income.
