It sounds counter intuitive but Burning Alive Tokens actually helps the WeAreAlive Community, associated token and the overall Hive Ecosystem.
By burning Alive tokens, it sends the token to the null account in effect taking the token out of circulation. The less tokens in circulation, the less available to be traded. This reduces the supply of the token and also increases the demand because Community members will need to acquire Alive tokens before they have them to burn. This creates a stabilizing on the token which helps maintain the price.
This also helps the overall Hive Ecosystem because of the additional activity that is required to burn a token. To bun a token, you will need to have created content and posted it for all to see. This earns the Author and all of those that curate the posts additional Hive and Hive Engine Tokens.
I think this is a very good activity to participate and making the community and Hive stronger in the process.
