Hive Power Up Day motivates me to add additional Hive to my Power on a monthly basis. Yes, you may think I could do it any day put Hive Power Up Day is more about Community coming together and taking action toward a specific purpose.
I hope you also participate in Hive Power Up Day to help grow the Hive EcoSystem. I am trying to do my part even if it is only a small amount. I you would like to join as well, there are around 8 hours left in the official Hive Power Up Day. The hours are determined by UTC time. For me it will end tonight at 7pm US Central Time.
I will be powering up 10 Hive again this month. Since I really enjoy taking part in each months Power Up, I try to keep an extra 10 Liquid Hive in my account as a contingency. Just in case, I try to always keep one month ahead this way there is not last minute rush to find out where I will be getting the funding for that months' Hive Power Up Day.
My starting Hive Power balance is 2651.209. I will be powering up 10 Hive to participate in the Monthly Power Up Day.
After I powered up the 10 Hive, I now have 2,661.209 Hive Power. this will help out with my curation rewards. I believe that every little bits helps to grow your account.
Alive Staking
In addition to Powering Up Hive, I also power up the Alive tokens that I earn each week to participate in that communities Weekly Alive Staking Challenge.
This month I was able to power up enough to reach 19,000 Staked Alive Power. I am hoping to continue being able to power up Alive on a weekly basis.
