Last week was the rodeo, this week there's another rodeo. It was raining thismorning, I saw. This is the wild west, where line dancing was taught in high school and you better not forget your hat- because it might be blistering heat in the sun all day or it could be snowing and you'll need gloves.

I am not sure if I should be prepared for sun, rain or hail but I am heading south in the next few hours. Upon checking the webcams it looks like a nice day with clear roads.

A bit smoky from ongoing forest fires. There was an accident but by the time I arrive, who knows what obstacles there may be. I often notice vehicle remains along the side of the road, and imagine we live in a post apocalyptic future-- as I am passed by erratic speeders in a hurry.
