-35'C confirmed and in some areas might dip down to -40'C, I just made it back inside but it is not fun out there. The year is almost over and we all can look back and wonder-- what went wrong, what went right, and how can we make the next year a little better?
At the start of 2021 we wondered how we could even get through this year. And now at the end of it, it's done. It happened. It's over. What next?
I want 2022 to be filled with joy and hope for what is possible. Too long the world has been afraid of change, but now that it is upon us there is no reason not to make the most of the time we have left.
2020 forced many to confront their fears, their own doubts, and test the strength inside. Some of us lost so much and we cannot forget the world we are trying to create for the future. Our dreams before the sh*t hit the fan.
Long long ago when we were young and idealistic, go back and think about your dreams. What were the worlds of possibility that you were dreaming of? For myself I spent a long time dreaming about music feeling inspired to write and perform music.
I have not done this for a while, and even my attempts this year to sit and write new songs have been too few and far between. I still record the occasional melody or lyric I come up with, but to have a successful band you really need a reliable jam spot.
I want to write more music in 2022 and I will do it. This is about affirming some goals that are important to me. 2022 will be full of uncertainty and challenge too, but the year will pass as all the others do. And a year from now as we all once again think about the new year, and resolve to do better.
Let's make 2022 as fun as possible and try to enjoy life again. Find reasons to appreciate how good life is. And if it's not good, do something to improve your life so a year from now it's better.
I would like to be able to work less and relax more. A year from now I want to be caught up on all my debts and reducd my expenses, increase my Hive Power. Get a new vehicle and build a new garage.
We'll let's not get too big, I would be happy just to get out camping for a bit next summer. More important than doing (and saving) which is also important, we should enjoy this next year.
If it was my last, I would want to give it my all and make it a great one. And may we all have another 100 years of good health as we move into the Golden Age!
I plan to live my best life and am going to make 2022 the best. Hive Power should reach 3000. Deploy the front end for my website, build one or two new games. New series of videos for 3speak and my short film for the festival next fall.
I tried not to start anything new in 2021 but letting go of certain projects for a time also gave me focus on where I want to be in another 5 years.
Will I write my book this year? Will I learn jujitsu? I will cook healthy food and hopefully it will be delicious. I want to move towards my dreams and cross more of these items off my bucket list. 🪣
I also need a new suit with that wicked cape. It's the future and it's dystopia so it's time to express yourself. Be the best version if yourself you can imagine!
