This is probably one of my favorite sites because it allows me to see what is moving at any particular moment. I use these snapshots in time so that we can observe what is happening across cryptos. This only provides one slice of information at a particular moment, and only for the top 30 coins. There are other sites you can choose to view and should always look closer to learn more.
Bitcoin fell from 51000 to 47300 over the past day and as a result, so did most everything else.
However with BTC up 1% this hour we can see altcoins bouncing back between 1 and 3%
You can see that currently BTC dominance is 38.16% and ETH dominance is 19.17%
Compare this to my snapshot from January 28 2019
when BTC was over 53% of all crypto, and ETH was #3 at 9.75%.
