Made it back to the lake! I was here yesterday but there was nowhere to park along the road without paying and it's a QR payment system which is highly insecure and inconvenient.
It's also a stormy day with a bit of a chill, so the water is turbulent and the rain intermittent. From here I can sit and watch the waves, eating snacks. So I have nothing to complain about right now.
Brisk peach tea, cucumbers, pepperoni, cheese, tostitos, beef jerky, even no-name cheesies too if i want to tear open the bag. We are lucky to live in a time when we can have so much food! I watch people pass by, zipping up their jackets.
I still think it's so nice out! +17'C and sure, overcast, but it has been a dry summer and rain is needed. As long as there are no Tornados, we shouldn't have anything to worry about.
