Let's make love

Let's make love
like you say ‘I love you,’
with a racing pulse,
with sincere breath.
Like you make fire,
extensive, burning, voracious,
dancing among the shadows
and exploding in peace.
Let's make a life,
a universe in an embrace,
where every glance
takes you to my own pace.
And if two can,
in this infinite dance,
may love not fade,
may passion visit us.
Let us raise our voices,
like the wind among the trees,
and paint destiny
with the softest colours.
Because loving you is a journey,
an endless voyage,
