I just finished a 5.07km running that lasted about 0hh:30mm:47ss !
TL;DR - Warm but not unpleasant 馃檪
After having been out of action (pure laziness) I am finally getting back into the groove, todays run was the third in 6 days. I chose the lap around the village again as it is a nice and easy 5km (30 minutes) session. With the overcast and cloudy skies it was warm and slightly humid, but for the most part it was comfortable.
Again the pace was not the focus, the point is just to be outside and moving, and trying to build up the consistency. It is frustrating to think that just 3 months ago I was doing 10-15km runs regularly, and now my limit is a mere 5km. Its my own fault for losing focus... gotta keep moving forwards
One way of being consistent is to plan the sessions beforehand, so I know that next Monday I will go for my next run. Knowing that it is already planned and 'expected of me' will make it harder to back out of and make excuses.
Thats the idea anyway. Having a plan will be even more important over the coming weeks as my hours at work are changing. The good news is that I will be going from part-time (20 hours) to full-time (39 hours). This means my monthly wage will near enough double which will make my bank account very happy. It will mean I will have less time at home and hence I will need to make the most of the time I do have spare. I have gotten used to only working 3 days a week, there's a lot of time to do fun stuff lol
Right, plan made... now to click 'publish' and hope this works The Hard-fork is today apparently and there can be a few teething problems, so fingers crossed!
