I'd already changed my plans due to the heatwave, running a longer effort yesterday (only 25C) and a shorter effort effort today.
Even so, i still took a couple of walk breaks ( including up the hill), as i didn't see the poknt of pushing too hard for the sake of it.
Arrived home absolutely dripping with sweat, so first call is a shower, and then to find somewhere cool to sit and chill.
we've had all the windows shut, and curtains closed for most of the day, so it is at least cooler inside (just!)
