Last night I read a Reddit thread that was about experimenting with Pikmin Bloom to figure out the seedling spawn mechanic, apparently it’s based on stepcount and it spawns a new one every ~1350 steps. I also found some information that the fire station / emergency services training facility with a helicopter landing area might count as an airport in the game. So this morning for my morning walk I took the riverbank path to Maurie Jacobs Park and then down Chambers street, and then I walked back and forth a few times on the sidewalks that border that fire station and managed to get several airport seedlings. It’s just a game, but it was very energizing to be able to have a plan work out and get the result I intended, so I felt pretty great for the rest of my walk.

From the fire station I went back to Maurie Jacobs and took the path to Alton Baker Park, then kept going and crossed the Frohnmayer bike bridge to the university area, and walked a few loops around the library. Then I walked through town to the train station to try to get one of the new ticket seedlings in the game, but I haven’t had any luck with that yet. From there I walked to Alton Baker and then back home.

In the afternoon I took the riverbank path to Alton Baker Park and went over to the tree garden area before heading back home.
