Last night the wireless networking on my laptop died, and doing stuff over the net is most of what I use it for, so this is going to be throwing monkey wrenches into multiple aspects of my life. Rather than focus on that too much, today I wanted to concentrate on something more within my control and get a lot of steps in. In the @macfit competition I’m matched up against
@roger5120 today, so I also wanted to get enough steps to feel I had a good shot at a win since I narrowly lost our second head-to-head matchup in the season of #POLIAC that just finished.
I started the day with a walk along the riverbank path to Alton Baker Park, adding in a side-trip into town to do a Pikmin Bloom scan near the train station. It’s also possible to see rare random tulip blooms in the game now, and I managed to trigger one of those this morning.
Closer to noon I drove over to the Walmart on the west side of town, but before I went shopping I crossed West 11th to the path that leads through the wetlands there. I took that to where it ends at the Meadowlark Prairie entrance and then back, and then picked up a few things in the store.
Later in the afternoon I walked along the west riverbank path to the Owen Rose Garden and back.
