I was really tired this morning, I was up way past when I normally go to sleep last night because I went to see my niece’s high school production of the play Jack the Ripper: Monster of Whitechapel (she had a small part as the corpse of the first victim to be discovered). The show was much more of a comedy than I had expected. Overall I enjoyed the performance.

Because I was tired this morning I decided to take my medium length route for my morning walk (plus I got a bunch of extra steps yesterday walking to and from the high school for the show). I went to Alton Baker Park. My route there takes me through the Oakway shopping center and there are already a lot of Christmas decorations.

In the park, I activated my Rocket Radar in Pokémon Go and found some team leader activity. At first I was excited to get a chance to take on Sierra since I haven’t fought her before, but her team of a Sneasel and a Lapras (plus whatever she had after the Lapras) seemed to stomp everything I could think of to throw at them, so eventually I gave up.

Before I left the park I sat on one of the benches by the river for some mindfulness practice. The combination of sleep deprivation and having a lot of emotional agitation weren’t great for my ability to maintain focus.
