I took my usual Wednesday walking route today, timed so that I can get to my recurring appointment at 10am. I started by going to the paths in the Delta Ponds area. I thought it was especially beautiful this morning, since the post-dawn light was making everything seem very vibrant.
Then I crossed over the river to Maurie Jacobs Park and then took the riverbank path south. I had some extra time so I was tempted to walk up the path to the top of Skinner Butte, but I didn’t want to risk tiring myself out since I still had stuff to do. I think I may head up there some other day, though.
I went to Alton Baker Park and Even after I did a mindfulness exercise on one of the benches I still had a lot of time on my hands so I just wandered around a bit, and then I headed over for my appointment.
After it was done I walked home, with a side-trip to the store on the way since I wanted to pick up a few things.
