I followed my Tuesday routine again today so that I could get to my appointment at 8am like usual. As I was walking along the path through the Delta Ponds area I heard some unusual splashing and saw a lot of ripples in an area of the water that’s usually pretty calm. As I looked over the railing I noticed a pretty big fish breaking the surface of the water, presumably going after a bug. I don’t think it photographed very well, but it was an interesting change of pace to notice a different kind of wildlife.

I crossed the Greenway Bike Bridge and then headed down the path to the Owen Rose Garden.

As usual I was playing Pokémon Go for most of my walk. At seven I activated a Lucky Egg to get double the XP benefit from the friendship-level bump with @aThunderstruck as we talked about in the comments of some previous posts. I also apparently got some shiny-hunting luck around that time, because I finally encountered a shiny Lileep, one of the pokemon that is being featured during the current event.

Then I spent some time in Alton Baker Park, went to my appointment, and then came home.
