The American aircraft Douglas DC-3 (C-47, 71255), a propeller aircraft whose speed and scope developed a revolution in air traffic in the 1930s and 1940s, was considered one of the most significant transport aircraft ever made. He just landed in 1977 at the Cavtat airport, not far from Otočac.
