From Black to Red 馃枻 鉂わ笍 - De Negro a Rojo 馃枻鉂わ笍 [ENG-ESP]
Greetings and happy Holidays to all members of this wonderful community. Today I'm back to share with you a new hair transformation, December is a month when we usually have the tendency to be open to change our looks after all, when we dare to play with our style.
There's a warning that many of us have heard, and that is to avoid dying our hair with permanent black hairdye. That is because it is a very difficult color to get rid of, I mean, if we have had permanent black dye and then we want to change the color it will be quite the adventure and we will have to use bleach... And even then won't be any guarantee that we will get a good result,and generally we will get the hair fiber very compromised.

El d铆a de hoy me encuentro de vuelta para compartir con ustedes una nueva transformacion capilar , despu茅s de todo diciembre es el mes en el que tenemos la tendencia a buscar un cambio de estilo, en el que nos atrevemos a jugar con nuestra apariencia.
Existe una advertencia que muchas hemos escuchado, y es la de evitar te帽irse el cabello de negro con un tinte permanente. Esto se debe a que es un color muy dif铆cil de retirar, es decir, si tenemos el cabello te帽ido de negro y luego queremos cambiar de color ser谩 toda una odisea y deberemos de recurrir a la decoloraci贸n... Y a煤n as铆 no hay garant铆a de que obtendremos el resultado deseado, y por lo general se tiende a comprometer la hebra capilar.
A few days ago one of my cousins told me she wanted to go from black to red... I explained the difficulty and what we should do to make it happen and I accepted the challenge to help her get the desired color. But for this change I was in front of three obstacles because besides having her hair dyed black, she had about four months of root growth with a considerable amount of gray hairs, and a very thick and abundant hair.
Hace unos d铆as una de mis primas me dijo que quer铆a pasar de negro a rojo... Le expliqu茅 las dificultades y lo que deb铆amos hacer y acepte el reto de ayudarla a lograr obtener su color deseado. Pero para este cambio me enfrent茅 a tres obst谩culos pues adem谩s de tener el cabello te帽ido de negro, ten铆a crecimiento de unos cuatro meses de ra铆z con una cierta cantidad de canas y una melena sumamente gruesa y abundante.
So the first step was applying a generous amount of hair bleach mixed at equal parts with 30 volume peroxide only on the length, her hair is very abundant, so we took a pause when we got to the half, rinsed and we continued with the rest of the hair to avoid over processing.
As铆 que el primer paso fue aplicar una cantidad generosa de decolorante mezclado a partes iguales con per贸xido de 30 vol煤menes solo en el largo, su cabello es sumamente abundante, as铆 que tomamos una pausa a la mitad, lavamos y luego continuamos con el resto del cabello para evitar que se sobreprocesara.
I was surprises to see how fast it was lifting, because I honestly wasn't expecting it. After washing it off, we blowdried it a bit and I started applying the 6.99 hair color of the brand Igora Royal on the roots, this is a darker color than the one we chose for the length because I wanted it to be as even as possible because there was a big possibility of the roots turning way lighter. For the rest of the hair I applied the shade 9.98, mixing it with the remaining previous color to unify it. We let it sit for 40 minutes and we washed it off with abundant water and shampoo, and applying a hair mask.
Me sorprendi贸 al ver lo r谩pido que estaba aclarando, pues honestamente no lo esperaba. Luego de lavar, secamos un poco y me dispuse a aplicar el tono 6.99 de Igora royal en las ra铆ces, este tono es m谩s oscuro que el aplicado en el largo porque quer铆a que el color fuera lo m谩s uniforme posible ya que al tener canas exist铆a la posibilidad de que las ra铆ces terminaran siendo m谩s claras. Para el resto del cabello aplique el tono 9.98 mezclado con el restante del tinte anterior para unificarlo. Dejamos actuar durante 40 minutos y lavamos con abundante agua y shampoo, finalizando con una mascarilla capilar.
The outcome was better than we expected, because we didn't have great expectations to begin with because she'd had been dying her hair black for many years, the color was relatively even, the hair remained soft to the touch, and the nose important thing is that it had no breakage at all. We both agreed to apply only the 6.99 dye next time, because we are applying the dye over a bleached surface and the duration of the color is quite uncertain, and we have the 4.99 shade as another option because it is a more violet shade and it's very beautiful and would complement her very well.
El resultado fue mejor de lo que esper谩bamos, pues la verdad no ten铆amos muy grandes expectativas ya que llevaba much铆simos a帽os tinturando su cabello de negro, el color qued贸 relativamente parejo, el cabello conservo la suavidad y lo m谩s importante es que no hubo nada de quiebre. En lo que si estamos de acuerdo es en que de aqu铆 en adelante aplicaremos 煤nicamente 6.99 en todo el cabello, pues al estar sobre una base decolorada probablemente la duraci贸n del color no sea mucha, aunque tambi茅n tenemos el 4.99 como una opci贸n ya que es un tono violin muy hermoso y favorecedor.
