It is widely used here in Venezuela for medicinal infusions and as a culinary seasoning.
This aromatic plant dies easily if uprooted, so it is simpler to propagate it from seeds, which are obtained from the dried flowers.
Its aroma attracts various beneficial insects while repelling harmful ones (though I don't know exactly which ones).
It makes a lovely garden addition and is easy to harvest.
