Dibujando a Mili, mi primer dibujo en mi nuevo sketchbook 📔❤️ [Esp/Eng]

Hola a todos. Por acá mi primera vez haciendo un dibujo para esta comunidad @sketchbook. Desde hace tiempo que tenía ganas de dibujar, es mi pasatiempo favorito y aprovechando mi nuevo cuaderno, lo quise estrenar con una foto de mi perrita Mili al lado de un girasol 🌻 .

Hello everyone. This is my first time doing a drawing for this community @sketchbook. I've been wanting to draw for a long time, it's my favorite hobby and taking advantage of my new sketch pad, I wanted to release it with a picture of my dog Mili next to a sunflower 🌻 .

Tiene una mirada muy tierna y combinada con los colores de la flor pensé en que sería una buena manera de comenzar. Llevaba mucho tiempo que no dejaba un rato para hacer un dibujo pero la verdad es algo que me desestresa bastante y me relaja así que decidí ayer divertirme un poco con los lápices y colores.

She has a very tender look and combined with the colors of the flower I thought it would be a good way to start. It had been a long time since I left a while to do a drawing but the truth is something that de-stresses me quite a bit and relaxes me so I decided yesterday to have some fun with pencils and colors.

Para comenzar, lo que hice fue dividir la hoja en cuatro partes, ya que es un bloc muy grande, así que se me ocurrió la idea de hacer varios dibujos en una sola página. El primero sería de Mili, luego Murphy, después Zuko (el papá de Mili) y por último un dibujo inspirado en una foto que tengo de los tres posando juntos❤️.

To begin with, what I did was to divide the sheet into four parts, since it is a very large pad, so I came up with the idea of making several drawings on a single page. The first one would be of Mili, then Murphy, then Zuko (Mili's dad) and finally a drawing inspired by a picture I have of the three of them posing together ❤️.

Por esta razón, hoy sería el turno de Mili. Lo primero que hice fue el boceto de su cabeza, inicié por las orejas, de ahí me guié para el contorno de su cabeza, poco a poco los ojos y la nariz, hasta un poco del torso, no quise dar muchos detalles con el lápiz porque esos se los haría con los colores más adelante.

For this reason, today would be Mili's turn. The first thing I did was the sketch of his head, I started with the ears, from there I was guided to the contour of his head, little by little the eyes and nose, until a little of the body, I didn't want to give many details with the pencil because I would do those with the colors later.

Luego fui trazando el centro del girasol, cada uno de sus pétalos y las hojas de la parte interior. Así como los pequeños detalles de la pared. Principalmente lo que más tiempo me llevó fue su cara, por las arrugas de su frente se me complicó un poco, pero ya lo demás lo hice más rápido. Para ahora iniciar con la parte que me da un poco de miedo pero a la vez emoción, el uso de los colores, porque a veces siento que un error puede dañarlo todo, sin embargo es lo que le daría vida a mi dibujo.

Then I traced the center of the sunflower, each of its petals and the leaves on the inside. As well as the small details of the wall. Mainly what took me the longest was his face, because of the wrinkles on his forehead it was a little complicated, but the rest I did it faster. Now to start with the part that gives me a little fear but at the same time emotion, the use of colors, because sometimes I feel that a mistake can damage everything, however it is what would give life to my drawing.

Ahora con los colores, quise comenzar trazando los bordes de su figura con un color marrón. De ahí, con color negro coloreé las partes que me parecían oscuras poco a poco y a su vez iba añadiendo toques de marrón donde me pareciera necesario. Este proceso lo realicé una y otra vez hasta que terminé su cara, porque al ser de un color gris y negro principalmente, no necesité más colores.

Now with the colors, I wanted to start by tracing the edges of his figure with a brown color. From there, with black color I colored the parts that seemed dark to me little by little and at the same time I added touches of brown where I thought it was necessary. I did this process over and over again until I finished his face, because being mainly gray and black, I didn't need more colors.

Le hice su chaqueta con color azul y para el girasol lo que hice fue contornear primero cada pétalo con color amarillo oscuro y los rellené con amarillo pollito. En el centro utilicé una mezcla de marrón y negro pero con la técnica de hacer trazos pequeños para dar la ilusión de las pelusas del centro del girasol. Y en la pared simplemente remarqué los detalles con dorado, además, sin afincar mucho el color lo pasé por toda la parte de la pared. Y eso fue todo.

I made her jacket with blue and for the sunflower I outlined each petal with dark yellow first and filled them with chick yellow. In the center I used a mixture of brown and black but with the technique of making small strokes to give the illusion of the fluff in the center of the sunflower. And on the wall I simply highlighted the details with gold, also, without sharpening the color too much, I ran it all over the wall. And that was it.

¿Qué les pareció el resultado? Yo lo amé😍 siento que pude capturar la mirada de Mili y en conjunto con el girasol le da un toque hermoso. Ya quiero seguir llenando mi cuaderno de dibujos y compartirlo con ustedes. Poco a poco iré mejorando mi técnica con los colores pero creo que fue un buen comienzo después de tanto tiempo. What did you think of the result? I loved it😍 I feel I was able to capture Mili's look and together with the sunflower it gives it a beautiful touch. I already want to keep filling my sketchbook with drawings and share it with you. Little by little I will improve my technique with the colors but I think it was a good start after such a long time.
