Soy una persona a la cuál le apasiona mucho estudiar, de hecho paso gran parte de mis días investigando cosas nuevas y tomando apuntes de manera autodidacta.
Pese a todo esto, algo con lo cuál siempre he discrepado ha sido con la educación en sí (a nivel académico). Puede que éste pensamiento se haya generado por mi mala experiencia a nivel institucional o porque fuera de ella he aprendido más que viéndome involucrada.
Todo lo que exprese aquí no es más que mi opinión propia. Siento que la educación ha sido lo único que no ha querido evolucionar en sí, aunque recientemente por el tema de la pandemia se ha visto en la obligación de enseñar a distancia, aún queda perpetuado el juzgar el conocimiento de los estudiantes con notas, dejándolos entonces condicionados a que si reprueban una materia no poseen la inteligencia suficiente ¿es esto cierto?
Claro que no, los seres humanos vamos más allá a obtener un 20 en una prueba de matemáticas.
La educación actualmente debería de centrarse más en estimular los intereses del alumno y desarrollarlo en ello. Siempre sueño con la idea de que exista alguna escuela que le de alas a los alumnos y no se las corte.
Si uno de tus alumnos está interesado en la medicina ¿por qué no estimular esa idea y educarlo desde bachillerato? Me refiero, ya es momento de dividir la educación desde muy temprano con las ramas necesarias que cada quién desee desempeñar de adulto, esto ayudaría a no perder el tiempo a quiénes desean estudiar filosofía y letras por ejemplo, viendo biología hasta final de bachillerato.
Y ya sé que pensareis que para eso está la universidad, comprendo, pero conozco a muchas personas a día de hoy que no recuerdan nada de lo que estudiaron en bachillerato y qué jamás volvieron a verlo en la universidad. Mi idea va directamente a centrarse en lo que quiera cada alumno, sin juzgar si lo que quiere ser es artista o biólogo.
Además de que lo único que no ha cambiado de nuestro sistema es la educación, sigue siendo exactamente la misma de cuándo comenzó en la revolución industrial, o por lo menos en la mayoría del mundo continúa siendo así.
Vengo a colar algo aquí, uno de mis sueños es abrir una escuela en la cuál aparte de enseñarle lo esencial a los alumnos, se le permita expresarse y tomar el camino que desea, por ejemplo, si le gusta la música, centrar el 70% de su educación en ello.

Despite all this, one thing I have always disagreed with is the education itself (on an academic level). This thinking may have been generated by my bad experience at the institutional level or because I have learned more outside of it than by getting involved.
Everything I express here is just my own opinion. I feel that education has been the only thing that has not wanted to evolve in itself, although recently because of the theme of the pandemic it has been seen in the obligation to teach at a distance, it is still perpetuated to judge the knowledge of the students with grades, leaving them then conditioned that if they fail a subject they do not possess sufficient intelligence.
Of course not, human beings go further than obtaining a 20 on a math test.
Education today should focus more on stimulating the interests of the student and developing him/her in it. I always dream of the idea that there is a school that gives students wings and does not cut them off.
If one of your students is interested in medicine, why not stimulate that idea and educate him from high school? I mean, it's time to divide education from a very early age with the necessary branches that each person wishes to carry out as an adult. This would help those who wish to study philosophy and literature, for example, by watching biology until the end of high school, not to waste their time.
And I know you think that's what college is for, I understand, but I know many people today who don't remember anything about what they studied in high school and never saw again in college. My idea is going to focus directly on what each student wants, without judging whether what they want to be is an artist or a biologist.
Besides the fact that the only thing that has not changed in our system is education, it is still exactly the same as when it began in the industrial revolution, or at least in most of the world it continues to be so.
I come to sneak something in here, one of my dreams is to open a school in which apart from teaching the basics to the students, they are allowed to express themselves and take the path they want, for example, if they like music, to focus 70% of their education on it.
