I just got a disturbing news this morning and I was practically weeping on the phone with the caller.
The lady is someone I know so well and I remember her daughter then as a cuddly joyful bundle. Each time I met them back then I couldn’t resist the urge, I will always carry her.
She was such an amiable cute cuddly cherub as a baby and his dad I have met few time but can’t remember what he really looks like now.
This young child is 8 years old now and the mother called me that her father has been abusing her for five years. Here are words:
“ Bolatito I guess I can trust you that is why I am telling you this please I have been battling with this for over five years. I remembered the first time I caught his with her, I screamed and used all the abusive words I know but he denied it. He then went on to report to my uncle, my uncle came and he didn’t believe me too either. My daughter keeps complaining about pains in her vagina and I many times I have taken her to hospital. The doctors told me she has been molested and each time I accuse my husband he denies it. One day I saw bruises on my daughter’s vagina and it was also swollen and I called his attention to it again but he started screaming that I have lost my mind. Now I make sure my daughter wears trousers to bed and I also use belt to tighten trousers. I also make sure she sleeps with me and goes everywhere with me.
But the last time I travelled(I assumed he has stopped this terrible habit that was why I left my daughter at home) My daughter told me he fingered her again. We have been to the hospital many times over this issue and so there are medical evidences . The doctor asked me questions about who has been molesting my child and I had to lie to him. The doctor took my daughter outside and questioned her and she told him the truth. I think I have had enough of these and I wouldn’t want to wait until he penetrates her before I leave. Because if that happens it means I am doomed.
Now I have had enough and I wouldn’t choose marriage over my daughter. I have had enough!”
Please there are so many details I omitted here because of the identity of this person but she is very disturbed and she is looking for ways to tackle her husband through an NGO. She has all the evidences, please if you work with an NGO who deals with pedophiles or you know someone please chat with me in my inbox. She works but she doesn’t earn so much so she is also afraid because she doesn’t have so much. She had four kids for this man.
