The current president of Venezuela announced a few days ago the next Venezuelan currency (Bolívar Soberano) that will replace Bolívar Fuerte (Valid since 2007)

But the real question is: Will any of the economic problems solve this measure?

The answer is a simple NO, because the entry of a new monetary cone, means only a visual change to the currency, because the only thing that implies is to remove 3 zeros to the current currency, and consequently to the value of the product, however The SALARY / BASIC BASKET relation will remain the same.

In a country that suffers hyperinflation like Venezuela, in just a few months prices will again be seen by thousands, consequently take away 3 zeros from the currency, at this moment it is meaningless.

If the measure were taken, having already overcome the "hyperinflationary" phenomenon, it would have a little more sense but would be done with the purpose of facilitating operations by talking about smaller figures.

Cash Shortage:

Perhaps this is one of the main difficulties that all Venezuelans face, because the banks do not have the capacity to give you even 10% of the salary in cash, in the streets the cash is traded as a product and is even charged more than 100% of the actual value of the Ticket.

Something that draws attention to the announcement of the new monetary cone, is what the Vice President said (Tareck El Aissami)

And is that the date on which the new monetary cone (June 4) will be the same date in which the current tickets lose value, consequently on June 3 there should be no bills on the street.

The question that all Venezuelans ask themselves is with what money will we mobilize on day 4 if the new cone would just be coming out and the old one will no longer have any value?
The answer is simple there will be no money and the current shortage of cash will worsen even more as the day approaches (June 4)

Gasoline increase?

Another thing that may happen is the increase in fuel because with the current value (6 Bsf x Liter) the value of a gasoline tank does not reach 500 Bsf and the lowest denomination of that cone (0.50 equivalent to 500Bsf)

So the most likely is that the fuel has an increase with the excuse of adapting to the new monetary cone.

With this we finish for now.

I await your opinions in the comments.
