As I explain in the introduction, the consequence of the appearance of Broken Arrows in the battle conditions is that we won't be able to use cards with ranged attacks, which will force us to focus our strategy on melee and magic attacks and set up our defence according to these two types of attacks. The Void, Thorns and magic Reflect abilities will be crucial and we will have to find a way to include them in our line-up. Also, looking for a summoner to shield or reduce the opponent's magic attack will also be another point to consider when structuring our line-up under Broken Arrows.
Como explico en la introducción, la consecuencia de la aparición de Broken Arrows en las condiciones de batalla es que no podremos utilizar cartas con ataque a distancia. Ello nos va a obligar a focalizar la estrategia en ataque cuerpo a cuerpo y mágico y plantear nuestra defensa de acuerdo a estos dos tipos de ataque. Las habilidades Void, Thorns y magic Reflect van a ser determinantes y tendremos que buscar la manera de incluirlas en la alineación. Asimismo, buscar un invocador que aporte escudo o reduzca el ataque mágico rival también será otro punto a estudiar al estructurar nuestra alineación bajo Broken Arrows.

@erune in the Broken Arrows example battle. His strategy will counter mine and will be much more effective. He sets up Alric Stormbringer as a summon by adding an extra point of magic attack to his cards. My strategy was based on my opponent using melee attack and it's not useful against magic attacks so you can imagine the outcome of this battle.

Despite using a very similar line-up to last week, the result is completely different. The battle conditions have this effect on Splinterlands. What works for some conditions doesn't work for others and that's what happened this week. When Broken Arrows appears, it's vitally important to match our strategy to that condition. We should try to boost melee or magic attacks offensively and, defensively, use abilities that punish these types of attacks like Thorns or Magic Reflect do. Whatever you choose, keep in mind that if the opponent knows what the absence of melee attack means, as is the case in the example battle, he can take advantage of it and punish the small or big mistakes of our battle idea.
A pesar de utilizar una alineación muy similar a la semana pasada, el resultado es totalmente distinto. Y es que las condiciones de batalla tienen este efecto en Splinterlands. Lo que vale para unas determinadas condiciones no vale para otras y es lo que ha pasado esta semana. Cuando aparece Broken Arrows es de vital importancia adecuar nuestra estrategia a esa condición. Buscar potenciar el ataque cuerpo a cuerpo o el ataque mágico a nivel ofensivo y, a nivel defensivo, utilizar habilidades que castiguen estos tipos de ataque como hacen Thorns o Magic Reflect. Elijas lo que alijas hay que tener en cuenta que si el rival sabe lo que supone la ausencia de ataque cuerpo, como es el caso de la batalla de ejemplo, puede aprovecharlo y castigar los pequeños, o grandes, errores que tenga nuestra idea de batalla.
