We need grace, yes, I have to say it, ‘we need GRACE’. Activities upon activities and you are likely to mismanage your most important assignment. It is the first day of the week and I was planning to give it in the church. It happens I will only be attending the night service. I was there yesternight and I was thinking I will be able to reach the church again today.
So many things can run through your head at a time that before you are able to make a sustaining decision, time has gone already. Should I, should I not? I have this and that to meet up. I wasn't expecting the workload that just came in yesterday and it is already a concern. The earlier the better and to even talk of, there are pending jobs to add to that.
Yesterday didn't even go as I calculated from the office. Some delays came in. I was also at my end trying to reserve some energy for the night meeting. So when I felt like giving at least another hour into office work, I just found out we were short of something very needful at that moment. We couldn't find it to buy during that evening.
And here today, I have to resume office to start up some things early enough. If I can get one thing off the table, it would be a big added advantage. But I need some resting time? Ahh!! Yes, I know.
Little efforts add up. In short, little efforts stir up big achievements. Have you been in such a situation where ‘just one more’ ended up in an over and over again activity.
Getting a new customer can be both an achievement and a challenge. An achievement that your brand is spreading, a challenge in the sense that you will have to deliver both quality and at an expected time frame. At least they are coming from somewhere.
This is where I mostly rely on the professionals we are working with. So what happens when they are not around. Today is a Sunday and mostly a work-break day. If I could just get something started before they come either on the latter part of the day or perhaps tomorrow, it will be a good one.
But what if I get the cutting wrong? First I wanted to quit the try. This was when I had to encourage myself; haven't I been cutting and sewing, so why let fear set in on this one. What is growth? Taking on a new challenge of course. I am doing this and it is going to be right.
To conclude, let me add, so how did it end. I was able to draft out the material just as was needed. In short, I just learned a new way of cutting materials. There is a time advantage as we speak because I have laid the starting foundation. If you want to grow, take on new challenges. It is one I am still working on; we have a workload for a week that we’ve not delivered before. Well, we are still expecting others to come in but if we can target this one out, it will be one big boost to our brand.
