Ok, I am just squeezing myself in to pull out this article. Maybe I should just talk about how the going is going. I had to switch direction of work today and fast enough to meet up. We are in the rainy season with heavy clouds. The sun is struggling to shine these days and our laundry department is in one way or the other dependents on the sun.
There is no drying machine for now at most would have been the use of the washing machine spinner and unfortunately it was faulty.
Before delving into repairs, we have to focus also on how to deliver what needs to be out by tomorrow or next. This was where I had to make a smart decision; switch department fast. The sun is surprisingly shinning and electricity supply is also favorable. This is a duo I should not be joking with at this time.
Talking of time, my time frame in the office is on calculation. I have a meeting to meet up between 3PM to 3:30PM. It was something I was discussing with my contract worker this morning; ‘we switch fast’. It really did work out, we were able to cover a good workload in the laundry department.
The clock is ticking itself near the 3PM mark: Time to zoom out. 3 hours later I returned and well, it was just me thinking of a few things and I call it a day. Our repairs/maintenance client decided to show up. It has been calls upon calls for a week or two before he finally surfaced. Let's forget about the in-between issues, I can't afford to turn him back, who knows when next he will show up.
I even had to stay around myself to motivate him and also let him know how serious I am in getting our two faulty machines in the sewing department to function well. It's getting darker and well, we've fixed one out of two and the latter is pending a revisit by tomorrow. Ok, let's hope he shows up; technicians are difficult to secure, especially one that does work to standard.
Finally, I had to let him go and call it a night. It's a good thing the office is close to home already so a good night is not that hard to accomplish. Am I asleep already? Of course I wouldn't be typing this article. It has been one of those days with lots of outward transactions.
Expenses on this and that: even my home kitchen blender got faulty. Juice blending is now pending in the fridge; let's just hope it doesn't change taste. To achieve this early I am depending on when the repairer will call me to come pick up the blender.
It is more like making expenses in order to make sure an earlier expense on the fruit juice mix wasn't actually a waste. I am not a fan of wasting food, it was something Jesus taught me through his decisions and scripturally documented. Ok, let's call it a night. Ahh!! I just remembered, July ends tonight, the next morning is August. New month wishes loading.
