“You will need enough Word (Jesus) to survive this generation”. Stay very close to your Bible, make it a very close companion. Something will always try to come up and paint a picture. This is where you must be very sensitive. Words can serve both as potential and kinetic energy for sustenance.
Take this quick one from me; make sure nothing steals your joy. And expanding on this, don't sit down and wait for your joy; find your joy. The current world setting is just patterned to make you appear frustrated, depressed, behind, abandoned, none valuable, weak and so on.
But you must stand your ground. Yesterday (anyway, I thought I was going to be able to process this article yesterday) has been one of those days that has been with in-between life challenges. It may want you to start sending some irrelevant questions to your father in heaven but that shouldn't be the strategy.
God is good, God is too faithful, God cares, God is Holy, God will not fail you, God is the creator and owner of the entire universe. His thoughts for you are of good and not of evil. If He did not spare His only Son just so that He can draw you close, what more can He not give or do for you.
The idea here is to build up your mentality to think and react positively to fade off negative odds. We should go beyond just concluding that God is good only when our material needs are met. Sometimes He allows life to happen so as to train you. A season of lack is not a summary that you are poor. The question is, Did you even remember to say ‘Thank You Lord’ throughout that day?
Didn't I say, ‘joy is yours to find?’. What can that really be that is struggling with your joy? The lilies bloom and pin and the scriptures say that even King Solomon couldn't meet up with such dressing yet these lilies are just here today and tomorrow. God has chosen to give you a place of high value. Are you born again? Then eternal life is enough to keep you very joyous.
God knows you, He knows your name, your very hairs are numbered. Ok, I am stirring you to find your joy even when things don't work out as scheduled. You may be in debt but this doesn't conclude that you will be a debtor forever. There is hope for a tree that is cut down for at the scents of water, it will bounce back to life.
To conclude, let me add, life is about finding your mistakes and looking for possible ways to make necessary corrections. Many things we do pass through were not orchestrated by God. We need to be very real with ourselves, God has been showing up to even rescue us.
