That wise saying, life is a marathon not a sprint. And there is a need to take caution here because if not, you are likely to sprint yourself into many trouble. You will get exhausted to start with and come to the understanding you just wasted energy that was reserved for the finish line.
Ok, taking things easy does not necessarily translate that you should be slow. Nevertheless, be careful of anxieties; it has ensnared many. There is a reason God had given man upto 100 years span at least as we have come to see. I don't know about you, but I will be around that 120+ years.
Where did the age range fall from? 900+ and if you were to calculate on green candles this one will be called a reddish red. Nevertheless, a lot can be achieved within this time if you are willing to sit down and focus on where you are supposed to go.
Ok, this is easier said than done, at early years, ignorance always seems to lead the charge. Try this and that and before you know, maturity puts us on the correction table to first make amends before proceeding. If God has fixed a day for 24 hours, that's all you need.
And how did I even get here? Actually I just wanted to write on daily business and here I am diving into life motivations or realities as it seems fitting. Maybe this is me always taking every available stage to prepare for what is coming. I just love to add life and lighten up people. Ok, let's halt and head back.
Saturday is always that day I try to avoid running around so much but in the end, the reverse seems always the case. One customer call, then another and another. A little work force means you must be engaged.
Before getting back to this, maybe I should talk about the progress report. I took six months to improve and I have seen the differences. I had to step up although it was a hectic one. Little working force equals delays in delivery. Delays also equals slow cash incoming and it is something I am trying to eliminate as we speak. Since we don't have to employ many hands, let me join and see how far we can go.
I have been able to sew much better than before. I have been working with our contract worker both as a manager and as an apprentice. Put away your pride, it takes one nowhere. So now I can handle one thing while leaving the others for them. It also serves them time too. Adding to that, it causes them to step up too, now that I can handle some incomings.
When comes improvement comes opportunities. Ok, we have been able to deliver faster than before and when I was just thinking of summarizing the week, some contracts for our sewing departments just came in. This is why I said, I am already preparing for the workload awaiting next week.
I am not under too much pressure; well, this is because I am now able to handle some stuff. At least, I can head into the office and commence work while waiting for others to show up for the wrap up. I could remember some times back when everything would have to remain pending until my contract workers showed up. I mean, I will be restless with just 25% of the job that came in today.
In conclusion, what I learned is the need to improve. Ok, I am not saying that I will continue to be in the production floor for this brand, nevertheless, I have to fill in some space and draw additional income into this company. Building capacity is very important. To start with, God will not give to you what you cannot handle. It is something worth applying to all sectors of our lives.
